Mark Classes

Mark Classes is located right in Shop No 1 at Laxmi Niwas. It’s on Arthur Road in the Lower Parel area. If you know where Apollo Mill is, we are basically right next to it. Chinchpokli and Shubhash Nagar Estate are just around the corner too. The shop isn’t huge but it fits enough desks for the kids who come after their school day ends. We’ve been here in Mumbai 400013 for a good while now. The street outside is always busy with traffic and people walking to the station, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of pens and paper. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning or big leather chairs. It is a simple place with a blackboard and some fans. Parents usually drop their children off and go do their shopping nearby while we go over the day’s lessons. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if there is a big test coming up the next day. It gets a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but we clean up every morning before the first batch arrives. We don’t do any big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just see the sign when they are passing by or hear about us from a neighbor. It’s just a local spot where students can sit down and get their work done without too many distractions. Lower Parel is a fast place, but we try to keep things steady here.
