This is Manix Motors H O and we are located at Shop No 4 in Goregaon East. We are right opposite Riddhi Gar and very close to the Wageshwari Temple. Most people who come to see us just look for the temple first because it’s a big landmark in this part of Goregaon. The shop is a typical motor garage setup. We have tools scattered around and there’s usually a bit of oil on the floor, no matter how much we try to clean it. It's a busy place and there is always at least one vehicle parked out front with the hood up. I have been working in Goregaon East for a long time now. The street outside is always full of rickshaws and people walking to the temple. We don't have a fancy waiting room for customers. Most people just stand around or go get a tea nearby while we look at their machines. It's a honest kind of work where your hands are always dirty. We don't have any slick salesmen or complicated contracts. People tell us what's wrong with their car or bike and we try to fix it. The shop gets quite loud when the engines are running, but that's just part of the atmosphere. The building isn't new, and the shutter can be a bit hard to pull down at night, but it serves its purpose. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a local shop in Goregaon doing what we know how to do.
