Major Exports Ltd.

You can find Major Exports Ltd. at 131 Mittal Court in Nariman Point. We are in the A Wing. Even though this is a fancy part of Mumbai, our office is pretty basic once you get inside. We have some nice views of the water if you stand in the right corner, but mostly we are just looking at our screens. The air conditioning is always running because the sun hits this side of the building pretty hard in the afternoons. Nariman Point is always buzzing with people in suits, but we tend to keep things a bit more casual in our office. We spend our days coordinating with shipping lines and trying to make sure the containers are where they are supposed to be. It’s a lot of phone calls and even more emails. The lift in the A Wing can be a bit of a wait during the lunch hour when everyone is heading out. We usually just bring our dabbas and eat at our desks while we talk about whatever is in the news. It’s a steady kind of life. We’ve been in this building for quite a few years and have seen a lot of other companies come and go. We just keep doing our thing. It's a professional area, sure, but we still operate like a small team that’s been together forever. It is just how we prefer to run the business.
