We are located at Hansraj Niwas right on SV Road in Dahisar East. If you know that stretch of road, you know how loud and busy it gets with all the buses and rickshaws zooming past. Our shop, number 5, is usually filled with the smell of engine oil and rubber. We have shelves filled with parts for different cars, and honestly, it’s a bit of a mess sometimes. There are boxes stacked in the corners and old catalogs on the desk that have grease marks on the pages. We spend most of our time talking to mechanics who are looking for a specific bolt or a filter. Sometimes we have to spend ten minutes digging through the back just to find one small item. Our hands are rarely clean because we’re always touching metal parts or opening crates. We have a small stool for customers to sit on, but most people just stand and chat while we look for what they need. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We don’t have any air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that pushes the warm air around. It’s a practical business. We don't do fancy displays. We just provide the parts that people need to keep their vehicles moving on the road outside. There is always work to do and grease to clean.
