M. J. Exports Pvt. Ltd.

Working out of Jolly Maker Chamber No 2 means dealing with the Nariman Point crowd every single day. We are up on the 11th floor at M. J. Exports Pvt. Ltd., so we spend a fair amount of time waiting for the lifts. It is a busy building with a lot of people moving around. Sometimes the wind off the water gets quite strong, and you can hear it through the windows. Our office is usually full of files and people talking on the phones. We handle a lot of export details from here. It is mostly just keeping track of where everything is supposed to be going. Lunch is usually quick because there is always another email or a call to take. The desks are pushed close together because space is tight in this part of town. We have been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. It gets quiet in the evenings after everyone else has gone home, which is when we finally finish the last of the data entry. Sometimes we look out at the other buildings and see everyone still working. It is just a regular office life. Nothing too exciting happens, just the daily grind of making sure the shipments are moving. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there are stacks of paper everywhere. We just pick a pile and start working until it is done.
