M Ghanshamdas Exports Pvt. Ltd.

We are located in the Embassy Centre at Nariman Point. Our office is No. 112 on the first floor. It’s one of those classic buildings in the business district. You can see the sea if you walk a little bit outside, but from our desks, we mostly see the other office blocks. M Ghanshamdas Exports Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for years. The office has that old Mumbai feel, with heavy wooden desks and filing cabinets that have been around longer than some of the staff. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but the breeze from the ocean makes it better in the evenings. We don't have a big reception area or anything fancy. Usually, there are just papers spread out and the sound of the calculator clicking. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. The elevators in the Embassy Centre can be slow during lunch hours, so we often just take the stairs since we are on the first floor. It is a busy place, but we have our own rhythm. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just people doing our jobs in a famous part of the city. Every day is about checking the details and making sure the exports are on track. It is a bit crowded inside with all the records we keep, but we know where everything is.
