Star Exports

You can find us at Star Exports on the first floor of the Ashoka Shopping Center. It’s on L.T. Road, so it's usually very busy outside. We have two units, 128 and 136. Being in a shopping center means there’s always people walking by and a lot of noise from the street. Our space is functional. We use it to coordinate all the export stuff we handle. It's not a huge place, but it works for what we need. We've got shelves for samples and a couple of computers that have seen better days. Every morning we open up and check what came in overnight. L.T. Road is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We've been in this building for a long time now. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other. Sometimes we grab lunch at the stalls nearby when we have a minute. Dealing with exports means a lot of waiting for documents and then suddenly everything has to happen at once. It can be stressful, but we've got a rhythm now. We don't have any big corporate meetings. We just talk across the desks to get things sorted. It’s a simple way of working. Most of our day is spent making sure the numbers match up and the containers are moving. It's just a regular office life for us, nothing more and nothing less.
