Royal Kids

Royal Kids is at Shop No. 25 on Sena Pati Bapat Marg in Lower Parel. If you know the area, you know how hectic it can get around here. It is one of those places where there is always someone rushing somewhere. Our shop is one of many in the row, but we have our own little corner. We sell things for children, so the place is usually a bit cluttered with toys or clothes or whatever else is in stock. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about where we put things so people can actually walk inside. The light from the street comes in through the front window, which is nice during the day. We spend a lot of time cleaning finger marks off the glass. Lower Parel has changed a lot over the years, with new buildings going up all over, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when there are no customers. Most of the people who stop by are parents who live nearby or folks working in the offices around the corner. We get to know the kids as they grow up, which is a bit strange to think about. At Royal Kids, we just try to keep things simple and make sure the shelves are full. It is a lot of work but it's what we do.
