Charu Diva Design Studio

Charu Diva Design Studio is up on the second floor of Pragati Industrial Estate. The building is located on Deliese Road. It’s No. 201 if you’re looking for the exact door. The stairs can be a bit steep but the lift works most of the time. Being in an industrial estate means there is always something going on. You can hear machines or people moving crates in the background. Our studio is just a big room with windows that look out onto the street. We’ve got tables spread out and bits of projects everywhere. It isn't a showroom that looks like a magazine. It’s a place where we actually work. There are threads and scraps on the floor by the end of the day. We spend long hours here, usually with the radio on or just the sound of the fans. People who come to see us usually know the area, which helps because Deliese Road gets quite jammed. We don't have a receptionist to greet you, you just walk in and one of us will look up from what we're doing. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. We like being in the middle of all the industrial activity. It keeps us grounded and focused on the tasks we have. We’ve been here at Pragati for a while now and the space fits us just fine. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is how we work best.
