Liftechniques

Liftechniques is located in the Minerva Industrial Estate in Sewri. We are right on the Pune Solapur Road, across from the Acme Industrial Estate. It’s a very busy industrial area. You can always hear the sound of heavy machinery or trucks loading up in the mornings. We work with lifts and elevators. It’s mostly mechanical stuff, grease, and moving heavy steel parts around. Our space isn't really meant for visitors to sit and have a cup of tea. It’s a working shop. We spend a lot of our time out at different buildings fixing things or checking if the elevators are safe for people to use. Lift work is serious business because people rely on them every single day to get to their homes or offices. We don't use fancy talk here. If a part is broken, we fix it or we replace it with a new one. The heat in the industrial estate can be a bit much in the summer months. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors. Sewri is an old part of the city with a lot of grit and history. Our day starts early and usually ends with dirty hands and tired feet. We keep the tools organized, or at least we try to when things aren't too frantic. It's a lot of climbing and looking into dark shafts. It’s not for everyone. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s what keeps the city moving up and down.
