Leela Exporter

Leela Exporter is based out of Saroj Mahal, D-232, in Samta Nagar. We are in K. T. Village, which is in Vasai East. Being out in Vasai means we have a bit more space than the offices in the city center. It’s a bit of a different vibe here. We still have the same export pressures, though. Our office is a simple setup in the Saroj Mahal building. We have our computers and some storage for our samples. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we don't have the long commutes that people in Mumbai face. We handle a lot of the paperwork for sending goods overseas. It involves a lot of waiting for approvals and talking to the customs folks. We try to keep things running smoothly, but there’s always something that needs fixing or a call that needs to be made. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office. We just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes it hard to get things moved, but we work around it. We take our breaks together and talk about things other than work sometimes. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We’ve built up a routine over the years in this spot. We just keep at it, day by day, making sure our exports are handled properly and that we don't miss any of the details.
