We’re over in Byculla West, located in the Ashirwad Building. Our specific unit is 501 A 106. Being in Mumbai, we’re very used to the constant noise and the movement of the city outside. This is where the Larsen Toubro E Engineering Solutions team works from every day. It’s a typical Mumbai office building. There isn't a lot of extra space to move around, but we make it work for us. We have all our engineering drawings and computers squeezed in here. It can get a bit cramped when the whole team is in at the same time. We spend most of our day looking at technical details and trying to solve various problems. It’s mostly quiet work, with everyone focused on their screens. We aren't the type of office to have big, formal meetings with fancy presentations. We just sit down together and figure things out. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick snack or a hot tea from the local vendors on the street. Byculla is an old area with a lot of character and history. We like being here because it feels like the real heart of the city. We don’t have a big front desk or a receptionist to greet people. We just keep our heads down and focus on the engineering stuff that needs our attention. It involves a lot of math and double-checking every detail. We just want to do a solid job so the projects move along correctly. That’s our day.
