Lakesides Nursing Hom

This place is located at Sujata Clinic on S V Road, right across from where things get busy near Bandra West and Ganpatrao Kadam Marg in Lower Parel. The address looks a bit confusing if you’re just reading it, but locals know exactly where this stretch is. It’s right in the heart of the action where the traffic never really seems to stop. We’ve been situated here for years, dealing with the daily flow of life in this part of the city. The nursing home isn't one of those shiny new glass buildings you see in the fancy parts of town. It’s a practical, older building that has seen plenty of people come and go. Inside, it feels very much like a community space. The halls are narrow and the rooms are simple, but everything is kept in order for the patients. We get people from all walks of life because of where we are located. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped when it gets busy, but we make it work. The staff here is used to the pace. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just about taking care of the people who come in. Whether it is a small issue or something that needs more attention, we just handle it one step at a time. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. The tea guy comes around in the afternoon, which is usually the only quiet time we get.
