Lahmeyer International Gmbh

Our Mumbai office is at Flat No 5 in Ganesh Apartment, which is right opposite the IIT Main Gate in Powai. Powai is a busy place, especially with all the students and the tech companies around. Being in an apartment building makes the office for Lahmeyer International Gmbh feel a bit more like a home than a cold corporate space. We have a view of the street and can see the main gate of the institute from our windows. The traffic on the road outside is almost constant, with buses and autos honking all day long. We do international consulting and engineering work here, mostly focusing on power and water projects. Inside, we have converted the rooms into workspaces with desks and shelves full of files and manuals. It is a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work and everyone gets along. We don't have a big sign on the building, just a small plate on the door so people know where we are. For lunch, we usually go out to the small shops nearby or get something delivered to the flat. The monsoon season is quite intense here in Mumbai, and sometimes the rain makes it hard to even leave the building. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical reports and designs we are supposed to finish. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we just get the job done without any fuss.
