Rizvi Trading & Export

We operate Rizvi Trading & Export out of Husaini Compound. It’s located at number 640 along Match Shastri Lane in Kurla West. If you’ve ever been to this part of Kurla, you know it’s a lot of small businesses and warehouses all squeezed together. Our place is basically a working space where we handle all the trading and export stuff. It’s not fancy. The floors are concrete and there’s always a bit of dust because of the trucks moving around the compound. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the stock in the corner. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the lane a bit muddy, which is a pain for the loaders, but we manage. We’ve got a small desk near the front where we keep all the registers. It’s mostly just us and a couple of guys helping with the heavy lifting when shipments come in. We don't really have a lobby or anything for visitors, just a couple of plastic chairs if someone needs to wait for a signature. People come and go all day. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons under the roof, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s a basic setup but it’s been our base for years. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the crates get to where they’re supposed to go without too much trouble. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning till late evening.
