My place is Shop Number 4 in the Surya Kiran Co-operative society. It's in Kandivali West. A good way to find me is to look for the petrol pump nearby. Most people use that as a landmark. I've been at this spot for a long time now. It’s a small shop space, but it fits what I need. Being part of a housing society means I see the same faces every day. It feels like a small village sometimes even though we are in Mumbai. The neighbors are nice. We talk about the weather or the traffic. It gets a bit busy around the petrol pump, especially in the evenings. I keep the place simple. No expensive decorations or anything. Just the basics for my work. People know they can find me here during the day. Sometimes I stay late if there is a lot to finish. Kandivali West is a crowded area, but this corner is okay. I like the routine of opening up the shop in the morning. I’ve seen kids grow up in this society while I’ve been working here. It’s just how things go. I don't have a big staff, it is mostly just me handling things. It is a quiet life but I like it. I’m just a local person doing my bit in the neighborhood.
