Kshitij Classes

Our classes are held in Dadar East, over at the Old BDD Chawl on D J Devrukhkar Marg. We are at number 30 in the Naigum area. If you live in Mumbai, you know how these chawls are. They have a lot of character and history. We’ve been here for a long time, and we like being part of the local life. Our rooms are simple. We have old wooden desks and large windows that let in the breeze, though it’s mostly just the sound of the city coming through. It’s not a quiet place, but it has a good energy. We don't have any shiny signs or big offices. It’s just a place where we sit down with the neighborhood kids and help them with their studies. Most of the families around here know us by name. We spend a lot of time talking to parents on the sidewalk after class is over. In the rainy season, we have to make sure the bags are kept away from the windows so they don't get wet. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We don't have a computer lab or anything like that. We just use textbooks and notebooks. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and the people here. We’re just a small part of the Dadar community, trying to keep things moving forward for the next generation in our own little way.
