Koshish Classes

We have been running Koshish Classes out of the Devprayag Building for a good while now. Our rooms are B 101 and 102, so they are right there when you come into the building on Mathuradas Road. Kandivali West is a busy area, especially this part near the Pragati Mitra Mandal. Most people around here use that as a landmark when they are trying to find us. It is just a regular place where we sit down with the students every day. The fans hum and you can hear the traffic from the road outside, but we just get on with it. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit crowded when one batch is leaving and the next one is arriving. It's just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We keep the doors open usually to let some air in. The building itself is older, but it works for what we do. You will see us there most afternoons and evenings. People from the nearby societies often walk their kids over. It’s not a fancy setup with big signs or anything. We have some whiteboards and benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. We didn’t want a corporate office feel, just a spot in the neighborhood where learning happens. Being opposite the Mandal means there is always something going on outside, especially during festival times. It makes the walk to the class interesting for everyone involved.
