Khyati Clinic

We are on Dadabhai Badkar Road at B/2 Gitanjali. It’s a quiet spot in the middle of a residential block. We have been here for a lot of years now. The clinic isn’t very big, just a couple of rooms where we see people. There’s an old wooden bench in the waiting area that has been there since we opened. We don’t have fancy equipment, just the stuff we need to check on patients. Most of our visitors live right in the neighborhood. We know most of them by name. It feels more like a community center sometimes than a medical clinic. We deal with coughs, fevers, and the usual things that bother people. The floor is made of those old grey tiles and they are a bit worn out. We keep our records in big paper files. It takes a minute to find the right one if we haven't seen you in a while. There is no receptionist so you just have to wait your turn until the door opens. Sometimes we get a bit behind schedule if a patient has a lot to talk about. We don’t like to rush anyone out the door. The street outside is narrow so parking a car can be a real headache. Most people just walk here anyway. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the work we do for the folks around Dadabhai Badkar Road.
