Khushal Architecture Work

We are located in Dahisar. It’s a busy suburb and the office is right in the middle of all the action. You can hear the trains if you listen closely enough. The space itself is quite modest. I call it architecture work because that’s exactly what happens here from morning until late evening. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where we get our hands dirty with sketches and measurements. I have a small desk tucked into the corner and the rest of the room is taken up by drawing stools and storage for all the rolls of paper we accumulate. The lighting is a bit bright but it helps when you’re looking at fine details on a plan. I usually have the radio playing low in the background just to fill the silence. People around here know me as the person to talk to if they need a simple shed drawn up or a whole house renovated. I don't go in for fancy presentations. I just show them what will work and what won't. There’s a tea stall just down the road that brings us snacks in the afternoon. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep because we always seem to have pencil shavings and bits of eraser everywhere. It’s a practical little shop and it’s served me well over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the drawings every single day for the locals.
