Khare Classes

Over in Goregaon East, at B29/102, is where Khare Classes is located. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it doesn't feel like you’re going to a cold office building. We’ve got our setup here in this specific block, and it’s where all the teaching happens. The room has a few desks and enough space for a small group to sit together. Goregaon can get pretty loud with the traffic and the trains, but once you’re inside B29/102, it’s mostly just the sound of someone talking through a lesson. We do a lot of writing on the boards, and there are always stacks of papers lying around that need to be graded or handed back. It’s not a big operation, just Khare Classes doing what we do every day. Sometimes the tea runs out or the umbrella stand gets overfilled when it rains, but we manage. The students know the way up and they usually come in groups after their regular school is over. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just the usual books and pencils. It’s been this way for a while now. We like being in this part of Goregaon East because it’s easy for people to find us once they know the building number. It’s a practical place for students who need a bit of extra time with their studies. We just keep the doors open and the chalk moving on the board throughout the afternoon sessions.
