Suraj Lalla Exports

We have been operating out of No. 101 in the Shree Shakti building for a good while now. It is located on Plot No. 697 along 14th Road in Khar West. If you know the area, you know it is always humming with people and cars. Our setup at Suraj Lalla Exports is pretty simple. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that are usually overflowing, and a very old coffee machine that makes a lot of noise. We spend our days mostly on the phone or typing out manifests for the stuff we send abroad. It isn’t the kind of job you see in movies, but it is what we know. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just want to make sure the crates get on the ships when they are supposed to. Sometimes the paperwork gets stuck in some office somewhere and we have to spend hours sorting it out. That’s just part of the deal. The office gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we don't mind much. We’ve got a small group of people working here and we’ve all been together for years. We know each other's families and what we like to eat for lunch. It feels more like a small family than a big company. We just do our work and go home to our lives. Most days are fine as long as the internet stays connected.
