Karkare Academy

We are located in Dadar West, over at B/101 in the Ganesh Co Operative Housing Society. It is right on Ganesh Peth Lane. Most people know where we are because Star Mall is just a short walk away. Mumbai is always busy, and this neighborhood is no different, really. We started the academy here because we wanted a place for local students to come and study. The housing society is a nice spot, though the lane outside can get pretty cramped with all the traffic and people. It’s just a simple setup with rooms for classes. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby. It’s just us and the books mostly. Usually, the place fills up in the late afternoon when schools let out. We've seen a lot of kids from the nearby buildings come through over the years. Some days it gets quite humid in the rooms, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the lessons. We aren't part of some big corporation. It's just a local business that's been here for a while. Parents often drop their kids off and go run errands at the mall nearby. It’s convenient that way. We don't do much in terms of advertising; people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. Dadar is a good place to be, right in the middle of everything. We just keep things practical and stay focused on the daily work we have to do.
