Karishma Mane

I’m Karishma Mane and I work out of my place at Krishna Galaxy in Santacruz East. If you know Mumbai, you know how crazy the traffic gets near the Vakola Bridge, especially during monsoon. That’s why I decided to set up here on Datta Mandir Road instead of trekking to a far-off office every day. It’s a small operation in apartment A/602. It’s just me and a few others trying to keep things moving. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us at the market. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of files or equipment lying around, but we make it work. Living and working in the same building has its pros and cons, like the elevator always being slow when you're in a hurry. But I like being part of this neighborhood. We do our daily tasks, answer emails, and try to stay on top of everything. It’s not a glamorous life, just regular work day in and day out. Sometimes we sit on the balcony for a break and watch the cars stuck on the bridge. It reminds me why I’m glad to be right here instead of out in that mess. We aren't some big firm with fancy titles. We’re just people working hard in Santacruz to get the job done and keep our clients happy.
