Kapuria Interiors

Our shop is Shop No. 4 in the Moonlight Apartment building on Mahakali Caves Road. It’s right near the Sai Palace Hotel in Andheri East, so there’s always a lot of activity around here. Being in Andheri means the traffic is constant, but we’ve grown used to the noise outside our door. At Kapuria Interiors, we spend our time looking at floor plans and talking about wood finishes or tile samples. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we display everything. You’ll usually see us with measuring tapes and sketches spread across the main table. Sometimes customers come in with just a vague idea of what they want for their homes, and we spend time trying to figure out what will actually fit in their space. It’s honest work and it gets dusty sometimes with all the samples moving around. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, so we know many of the regulars who walk by. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s mostly about making sure the measurements are right and the materials arrive when they are supposed to. Working in interiors means dealing with a lot of different contractors and workers, so the phone never really stops ringing. We just take it one project at a time and try to keep things organized in the shop between the site visits.
