Malhar Exports

You can find us in Kalbadevi, specifically on Vithoba Lane. We are on the first floor in room fourteen of building five slash seven. If you’ve ever walked through Kalbadevi, you know how tight and busy these lanes can get. It’s an old part of the city, and our building has that lived-in feel to it. We do export work from this small office. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The streets outside are always full of people and carts, which is just part of the charm, I guess. We spend most of our time dealing with orders and checking on shipments. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the stairs get a little cluttered, but we make it work. It's an honest way to earn a living. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the neighbors in the building. It’s a very traditional business area. We don't go for fancy decorations or big signs. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this lane for years. The room itself is quite small, so we have to be careful about where we stack the boxes. If you come by, you might find us surrounded by folders and sample pieces. It’s just how it is when you’re in the middle of Kalbadevi. We just keep our heads down and get the exporting done.
