K V Chawala Tutorials

We are up on the fifth floor of the Chawala Building, right here on Mumbadevi Road. It’s a busy spot in Masjid, especially with the Mumbadevi Mandir just a short walk away. We have been in these rooms, 48 and 49, for quite some time now. Most people find us easily once they get to the building, though the fifth floor is a bit of a climb if you aren’t used to it. The area is always crowded with shoppers and people going to the temple, so there is always a lot of noise and activity outside. Inside our rooms, we just focus on the teaching part. It’s a simple setup with basic benches and boards. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a place where students from around the neighborhood come to sit and learn their subjects. Being in this part of Mumbai means dealing with the traffic and the narrow lanes, but we like it here. It’s a real part of the city. We keep the doors open for ventilation mostly. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in an old building like this. We’ve seen many batches of students pass through these halls over the years. They come, they study, and they move on. We just stay here in our little corner of the Chawala Building, doing what we do every day without much fuss.
