Uday Exports Pvt. Ltd. is based at Prem Sons Industrial Estate, which is on Caves Road in Jogeshwari East. We are in unit number 111. It’s actually quite easy to find us because we are right opposite the Jain Temple. The Tahira Compound is a busy place with lots of small companies and workshops tucked away in different corners. There is always a lot of movement outside, with trucks coming in and out to deliver goods. Our office inside the estate is quite functional. We have the usual desks and chairs, and there is a lot of space taken up by samples and boxes. It’s not a place designed for looks; it’s designed for getting the work done. Most of our day involves talking to logistics people and making sure the export paperwork is all correct. we have a small staff and we’ve all been working together for a while. The neighborhood is very industrial, so it’s not exactly a quiet spot to spend the day, but you get used to the background noise after a week or two. We don't have a big meeting room or anything like that. If we need to discuss something, we just talk across the desks. Sometimes the rain makes the roads around Jogeshwari quite difficult to navigate, but we manage to keep the office running regardless. It’s just a basic, hardworking environment where we focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized through the day.
