Jigna Art

We are located over at Goregaon West, specifically at 135/A-5. Jigna Art is a small place, really more of a workshop than anything else. It’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. The street outside is usually full of people going about their business, and we are just one part of that. Inside, things are a bit cramped because we have so many tools and materials shoved into every available corner. It’s not the kind of place that looks organized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Most of our stuff is second-hand or things we’ve put together ourselves over the years. The lighting isn't perfect, so we have a few extra lamps scattered around to help us see the details. On rainy days, the sound on the roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other talk. We just nod and keep working. Sometimes we have a little tea break and sit on the stools outside for a few minutes to catch some fresh air. It’s a simple life here at the studio. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the routine. We focus on what’s in front of us and try to do a decent job every day. It’s nothing special, just our daily work.
