Jeetman Academy

We've been running Jeetman Academy for a while now in Andheri East. It’s located right over by Matoshri Garden, specifically in the C 4 building, room 104 where Mahesh Burse is. Most days it’s pretty busy here with people coming and going. We started this because we saw a need for a place where folks could actually learn stuff they’d use. It’s not fancy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the desks are sturdy and the lights work. People find us easily because we’re right across from the garden, which is a nice landmark if you’re coming from the station. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside when there’s a local event, but we just close the windows and get on with things. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. We spend most of our time working with the students, so if the phone rings twice, just hang on. We try to keep things simple and practical. It’s just us doing our thing every day, making sure the lessons make sense. Andheri can be a bit of a rush, but inside our little spot in the Po area, it feels more focused. We’ve had all sorts of people walk through these doors over the years. Some stay for a bit, some longer. We just keep the doors open and the chairs ready.
