You can find us at 1107 in the Raheja Centre, right at 214 FPJ Marg in Nariman Point. Being in this part of Mumbai means everything is always fast and a bit crowded. Our office is up on the eleventh floor, so we get a bit of a view, though most of the time we are too busy looking at screens or documents to notice. Since we are part of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, there is a constant flow of paperwork and people coming in and out. It’s a very different vibe from the actual port area, much more of a typical city office feel. The elevators in Raheja Centre can be slow during the morning rush, so a lot of us try to get in early to avoid the wait. The space is filled with desks, filing cabinets, and the sound of phones ringing. It’s not the quietest place to work, but you get used to the background noise of the city and the office chatter. We have our coffee breaks downstairs where there are always plenty of options, though we usually just grab something quick and head back up. It’s a serious enough spot, but it feels lived-in. There are stacks of folders everywhere and the whiteboards are always covered in scribbles that only we understand. It’s just the daily reality of keeping things moving from an office in the heart of the business district. It gets busy, but we stay on top of it.
