Jasma Exports

Our office, Jasma Exports, is located at S-1 on the 2nd floor of Adhyary Industrial Estate. We’re right in the Sun Mill Compound in Lower Parel, an area that has changed a lot over the years. It used to be all mills, but now it’s a hub for all sorts of businesses. Our building still has that old industrial feel to it, which we actually quite like. To get to our office, you have to walk up a couple of flights of stairs since the old elevator isn't always reliable. Once you’re inside, it’s just a regular office where we manage our export business. We have a few long tables where we sort through documents and samples. The light coming through the large windows is nice, even if the view is just other industrial buildings. We don't bother with fancy decor; we’d rather spend that money on keeping the business running. Most of our day is spent talking to manufacturers and shipping agents. It can get a bit hectic when several orders are leaving at the same time, but we manage to keep things under control. There’s a good sense of community in the compound, and we often talk to the owners of the other units nearby. It’s a hardworking environment, and we fit right in with our simple way of doing things. We just stay focused on the containers and the schedules.
