We are on the ground floor of A Wing in Room No 7. The clinic is located in Malad West, right next to Nutan School. You can always tell when it’s break time because you can hear the kids playing outside our window. Being on the ground floor is very helpful for our older patients who can’t climb stairs easily. The space is quite basic. We have a few chairs for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It’s a small room and it can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. I handle the paperwork at a small desk near the entrance. Everything is kept in folders and notebooks. We don’t have any high-tech systems here. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. People from the surrounding neighborhood have been coming to see Dr. Jashwant for a long time. They trust him and they know the way to Room No 7 by heart now. Malad has changed a lot with all the new malls and tall buildings, but this corner next to the school feels much the same as it always did. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. People find us because they live nearby or their family members told them about us. It’s a simple, hardworking place. We just focus on the patients and make sure they get seen in order.
