We are tucked away in Jay Yogeshwar Society, right in Sector 1 of Charkop. The address is 192, D/43. It is a residential area, so it is actually quite peaceful compared to the main roads. We are very close to the Charkop Market, which is handy when we need to pick things up. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Road is the main way to get here. We have been in this society for a while, and most of the neighbors know us by now. It is a small, local operation. We have converted part of the space into classrooms. It has a homey feel to it, not like those cold, professional offices you see in the city. We have chairs and tables and plenty of books piled up. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. Living and working in Kandivali West has its own rhythm. The market nearby is always buzzing, especially in the mornings and evenings. We get a lot of students from the surrounding buildings in Charkop. It is a short walk for most of them. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from teaching to cleaning up. It is hard work but we enjoy the routine.
