Jai Dayal Kapur

We are located on the ground floor of Ador House. It’s a well-known building at number 6, K Dubash Marg, right in the middle of the Kala Ghoda area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it has a lot of history and character. Our space is quite old-fashioned with high ceilings and heavy doors. We’ve been here a long time, and the place has a certain feel to it that you don’t find in newer offices. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in off the street. There is always a lot of foot traffic outside because of the galleries and cafes nearby. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the paperwork and the distribution. It can get a bit dusty with all the paper we handle, but that’s just part of the job. The light comes in through the front windows in the morning and it’s actually quite nice. We don't have any fancy glass partitions or modern art. It’s just desks, chairs, and stacks of what we’re working on. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the tourists walking past, but we don’t mind much. It’s a good spot to be in, and we feel like part of the furniture here after so many years. It’s just how things are at Jai Dayal Kapur. We like the old building and the way the floors creak occasionally.
