We’ve been operating out of Satyam Industrial Estate for quite a while now. It’s on the first floor, unit 112, right off Govandi Station Road. Being in Govandi makes it easy for us to handle the day-to-day shipping and receiving since we're so close to the station. The office isn't anything fancy, just a workspace where we manage the export side of things. Most days are spent talking to suppliers or checking on orders to make sure things move out on time. We deal with various markets, mostly focusing on getting goods where they need to go without too much hassle. It gets busy here, especially in the mornings when the traffic picks up around the industrial estate. My team and I mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the paperwork and logistics involved in marketing products for export. We've got a system that works for us, even if the building is a bit older. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs to the first floor. It's just how things are around here. We handle the technical side of the exports, making sure the labels and documents match up before anything leaves the unit. It’s a steady job and we like the neighborhood. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby where we take our breaks. Just a regular local business doing its thing in Mumbai.
