Huda Mobile Centre

You can find us over in Pydhonie at 2nd Cross Lane, number 4. It’s a tight spot but we’ve made it work for us here at Huda Mobile Centre. The lane is narrow so you have to watch where you’re walking because of the bikes. Inside the shop, we have counters where we talk to people about their phones. We do a lot of screen replacements and fixing buttons that don’t click right anymore. It’s a lot of small parts and tiny screws that we have to keep track of. Sometimes we drop one and have to search the floor for ten minutes with a flashlight. That’s just how it goes when you work with mobiles. The light in here could be better but we have our desk lamps. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time. Neighbors stop by to say hello even if they don’t need anything fixed. We usually have the radio on in the background. It keeps things from being too quiet when we are focusing on a difficult repair. The walls are covered with different phone cases and chargers. We try to keep everything in order but when it gets busy, things get a bit messy. It’s a real working shop, not a showroom. We just focus on getting the phones back to the owners. Most of the time, people are in a hurry, so we work as fast as we can to get it done and back in their hands.
