Hayaat Exports

Our place is in the Hasham Building on Mohammed Ali Road. If you’ve ever been down this road, you know how loud and energetic it can get. There’s always the smell of food from the nearby stalls and the sound of horns honking. Hayaat Exports operates out of a couple of rooms here. We’ve got shelves filled with samples and files that have been sitting there for quite some time. It’s a busy environment because Hayaat Exports is right in the middle of all the trading action. We don't really have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s mostly just us answering emails and making sure the crates are loaded properly. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout with all the humidity. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know the local transporters and the quirks of the neighborhood. The office is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. It’s a real family feel here, even for the staff who aren't actually related. We just focus on getting the work done without much fuss. We aren't big on corporate meetings; we usually just talk across the room while we work. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and has for years. We usually stay until late evening when the street lights finally come on and the traffic on Mohammed Ali Road settles down a bit.
