Haider Clinic

Haider Clinic is located at 17/ Gani Atar Chawl on 1st Gelabhai Street in the Madanpura neighborhood. It's a very busy part of the city, and the chawl is always full of life. Our clinic is just a small unit tucked into the building. We have one main room where we see people and a tiny area behind a curtain for storage. The street outside is narrow, so you can always hear the sounds of motorcycles and people talking right at the doorstep. It’s a very tight-knit community here. We know almost everyone who lives in the chawl and the surrounding buildings. We don't have fancy lights or a big waiting room. Most people just wait their turn out on the street or lean against the wall inside. We keep our records in old ledger books because it’s easier than trying to use a computer in such a small space. The walls are painted a light green that is starting to peel a bit near the ceiling. It doesn't bother us much as long as the work gets done. We open up in the evening when most people are back from work. That’s when it gets the busiest. We stay until we’ve seen everyone, which sometimes means being here quite late. It’s a humble place, but it’s where we belong. Madanpura is our home, and the clinic is just part of the fabric here. We keep the door open for whoever needs us.
