Goodwin Classes

Goodwin Classes is situated at Shop Number 1 in Rani Arcade, which is in Shamsuddin Nagar. This is right on the Andheri Kurla Road in Kurla West, across from the MLA office for Arif Naseem Khan. It's a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. We've been in this shop for years now. It's a small space, but we've managed to fit enough benches for our students. The walls are a bit plain, maybe need a new coat of paint, but they serve the purpose. We don't do much in terms of marketing or fancy brochures. Most people find us because they live nearby or their friends told them about us. We spend our time going through textbooks and helping kids with their math and science. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always on full speed. You can hear the traffic from the main road constantly, but the students seem to tune it out after a while. We have a routine that we follow every day, starting with the younger kids and then the older ones coming in later. Sometimes we run out of chalk or markers and have to send someone to the shop next door. It's a very grounded, local business. We don't have a big corporate office or a lobby. Just the classroom and a small corner for our things.
