Godavari Creation

We are located in Mataprasad Estate, which is a bit tucked away if you don't know the area well. It is right near the BJP office and just behind the Hanuman Mandir on P. M Poad in the Kohtwadi part of Santacruz West. You can hear the temple bells ringing in the mornings when they do the prayers. This part of the neighborhood is always moving. There are lots of people walking around and cars trying to squeeze through the narrow parts of the road. Inside the estate, it is a bit quieter but still busy with people moving boxes and fabric. We have been in this spot for a few years now. The room we work in has high ceilings but it still gets quite warm in the afternoons. We usually leave the door open to get a bit of a breeze. We spend most of the day at the workbenches. There is a lot of cutting and measuring that happens before we even start the actual making of anything. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch of work, and the streetlights outside flick on one by one. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other. It is not a shiny new building, but it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and get the creations finished. It's a regular life here, just working and going home.
