GMM PFAUDLER LTD.

GMM Pfaudler is situated in Lower Parel, right in the middle of Peninsula Corporate Park. We are up on the tenth floor of Peninsula Towers, room 1001. It’s a high-rise building and the views are okay, but mostly we are focused on our glass-lined equipment. That’s our main thing. We make reactors and tanks that can handle really harsh chemicals. It’s heavy engineering work, really. Our office here handles the administrative side of things and coordinates with the factories. Lower Parel is always crowded, so getting to the office at G K Marg can be a bit of a struggle in the mornings. Inside, the team is usually busy with drawings or talking to people from the pharma and chemical industries. We have been doing this for many years, so the staff knows the technical details inside out. We don’t really do big marketing campaigns; we just stick to what we are good at, which is manufacturing tough equipment that doesn’t corrode easily. Sometimes we have meetings in the conference room that go on for hours when we are planning a big project. It’s a professional environment but we keep it pretty relaxed among ourselves. We just want to make sure the orders are accurate and the engineering is solid. It's a lot of paperwork and technical checking every single day. We’ve been in this tower for a good while now and we know the building staff well.
