Up in the Supreme Business Park at Hiranandani Garden, our office is tucked away among all the other companies. It is a bit different here in Powai compared to the more crowded parts of the city. The buildings are taller and things feel a bit more modern, but inside our office, it is pretty basic. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking into records for people who need questions answered. Investigation work isn't like what you see on the television; it is mostly just patience and sitting through a lot of data. We keep the files organized in old cabinets, and the coffee machine is usually running all morning. People come to us when they have concerns about their business partners or personal matters they can't solve themselves. We listen, take notes, and then go out to find whatever information is available. Sometimes that means spending long hours in the car or walking around different neighborhoods. The view from the business park is nice, but we are usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window. We are just a small team of people who know how to find things out. It is quiet work for the most part, and we try to stay under the radar. We do not have any big advertisements, just our name on the door and a phone that rings more often than you would think.
