Our workspace is located in Sandesh Nagar, which is part of Kurla West in Mumbai. If you have ever been near Bail Bazar, you know how packed those streets get. We are right on A.K Road, just opposite the municipal school. The sound of children playing and the traffic outside is something we hear all day long. We have been at this Kurla address for many years now. Our rooms stay filled with different types of fabrics and pieces of clothing waiting to be finished. Because Mumbai is so humid, the ceiling fans never really stop turning. Everyone here puts in a lot of hours. We aren't a corporate setup with a lobby or a receptionist. It is a working space where the smell of new cloth and machine oil is always in the air. When the monsoon rains hit, getting our deliveries out on time becomes a real challenge, but we manage somehow. That is just part of living and working in this city. Most of our staff live nearby and have been part of the team for a long time. We don't bother with advertising much. People find us because we have been in the same spot forever. It is a straightforward business with no extra fuss. We just want to get the sewing done right and move on to the next pile of work waiting on the table.
