Gift World

You will find Gift World at 203 Abdul Rahman Street, right in the heart of Chhipi Chawl. If you have ever walked down this street, you know how packed it gets. There are boxes stacked everywhere and people constantly pushing past. Our shop is no different. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, filled with all sorts of things like frames, small statues, and trinkets. It is a bit of a maze inside. We spend a lot of our day unpacking shipments and trying to find space for new items. Most of our customers are looking for something small to give to a friend or perhaps something for a birthday. We do not really have a specialty; if it looks like a gift, we probably have it somewhere in a pile. The lighting isn't great and the floor is a bit uneven, but that is just the character of the old building. We have been here for a long time, watching the street change while our shop stays mostly the same. It is noisy and dusty, and we spend a lot of time dusting off the items on the front shelves. We close up when the market starts to wind down. It is a busy life being on Abdul Rahman Street, but there is always something interesting happening right outside our door. We just keep the doors open and help whoever wanders in looking for a little something. It is simple.
