Ghura International

Our place, Ghura International, is over at Plot No. 98 in the 2nd Lane of Darukhana, Mazgaon. It’s a very industrial area, which suits us just fine. There’s a lot of iron and steel business around here, and the streets are always busy with trucks and heavy vehicles. We deal with international trade stuff, mostly moving goods and handling the paperwork that comes with it. The office isn't much to look at from the outside, but it’s where all the work happens. We have stacks of files and the phone rings pretty often. We’ve been in Mazgaon for a long time and we understand how things work in this part of Mumbai. It’s a gritty area, but it’s got a lot of character. We don't have any fancy air conditioning in every corner, just a few fans that keep the air moving. We spend our days coordinating with people at the port and making sure shipments are where they should be. It’s a lot of logistics and talking to different people all day. We like the pace of it. It’s not a job for someone who wants to sit in a quiet, sterile office. We get our hands a bit dirty and we deal with real-world problems. It’s just the way we’ve always done things here in Darukhana. We keep our heads down and focus on getting the cargo to its destination.
