Gazebo Tent

Our shop is located in the Gulab Shah Estate, specifically at number 436 on L. B. S Road in Kurla (West), Mumbai. If you’ve ever driven through Mumbai, you know that Kurla is one of the busiest, most crowded places you can find. It’s always noisy outside with the traffic on the road, but inside the estate, we’re just focused on the fabric and the frames. At Gazebo Tent, we spend our time measuring out heavy-duty materials, cutting them to size, and making sure the stitching will hold up against the wind and rain. It’s a lot of physical work. We have rolls of canvas and piles of poles everywhere, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. It gets pretty hot under the tin roof in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't trying to be a fancy design studio; we’re a workshop where things get built by hand. Sometimes a customer comes in with a weird request for a specific size, and we just have to figure out how to make it work with what we have. Our team is small, and we’ve worked together long enough that we don’t need to say much to get the job done. It’s a bit messy and there’s always a layer of dust, but that’s the reality of making tents in the heart of Mumbai. We just get on with it and finish the work.
