Our business is on Datta Mandir Road in Bhandup West, at number 6. It’s a lively street, especially because the temple is so close by. We have a small manufacturing unit here. It isn't a massive factory, just a simple workspace where we get things done. We have a few older machines that we’ve used for years. They are reliable and we know exactly how to fix them if they act up. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be very careful about where we store the raw materials and the finished products. I usually spend my time between the machines and the small desk I have near the window. The street noise is constant, with people walking to the temple and rickshaws going back and forth. We have a small staff of four people. We are more like a family than a big company. We usually eat our lunch together on the work table after we clear off the tools. We don't have any flashy signs or posters. The walls are just painted a plain color and have some shelves for our equipment. We’ve been in Bhandup for a long time, so we know all the local vendors and neighbors. It’s a comfortable place to work. We aren't trying to do anything fancy or complicated. We just show up every day, do the manufacturing work we know how to do, and make sure everything is ready for our customers. It's a modest life but we like it.
