We are located at the Wentloog Environmental Centre in Cardiff. It’s a bit out of the way, near the coast, so it’s quite different from being in the city centre. The wind can get pretty strong coming off the water. Our office is part of the centre, so we see a lot of birds and nature while we work. It’s a quiet place, which helps us focus on what we are doing. We have some desks, a few computers, and a small kitchen where the kettle is always on. It’s not a flashy tech office with bean bags or anything like that. Just a practical space where we can get our heads down. We’ve been here for a while and we like the peace and quiet. Sometimes the sheep from the nearby fields get onto the road and slow things down. It’s just a handful of us working on various projects. We don't have a formal dress code; most of us just wear whatever is comfortable. The building itself is quite modern but we’ve made our corner of it feel a bit more lived-in with our books and papers everywhere. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. Most people who know about us just find us through word of mouth or by visiting the centre. It’s a steady way to work and the surroundings are definitely a plus for us.
