We are situated in the BDD Chawl area of Worli, specifically at 60 34 on GM Bhosale Marg. If you know Mumbai, you know this area has a lot of history and a very specific vibe. The building is one of those old chawls, so it isn't exactly a modern glass skyscraper. It’s a bit of a walk through the narrow corridors to get to our door. The walls are thick and the ceilings are high, which helps a bit with the heat. It is a very lively place to work because there is always something happening right outside. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long, from children playing to people shouting to each other. Our office space is pretty packed with desks and old metal cupboards. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some calendars and a few photos. It is a very honest place to work. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. Most of us have been coming to this same spot for years, so we have a set routine. We know where to get the best vada pav nearby and which shortcuts to take when the main road is blocked. It’s a busy, noisy, and cramped office, but it’s ours and we get a lot of work done in this little corner of Worli.
